Many lab tests are covered by insurance, but some may not be. You will be advised of the possible out-of-pocket expense of recommended tests before you commit to them.

The exact lab testing ordered after the Initial Evaluation depends on your individual circumstances, but may include:

  • Advanced stool testing to screen for digestive inadequacies, parasites, fungal overgrowth, bacterial infections, intestinal inflammation, and dysbiosis
  • Breath testing for gastrointestinal bacterial imbalances
  • Toxicity evaluation by blood and/or urine testing
  • Saliva or blood hormone testing for adrenal and sex hormone status
  • Urine testing for hormone metabolism assessment
  • Genetic testing for detoxification and neurotransmitter enzyme functionality
